The municipal executive committee, which is elected from among the municipal councillors, is an organ with an independent sphere of activity. It consists of the mayor, the deputy mayor and the executive municipal councillors.


The municipal executive committee (city council) is responsible for all matters that fall within the municipality's own sphere of activity, unless otherwise provided by law.
