Dog levy for all working dogs identified by notice

Due to the provisions of the Lower Austrian Dog Tax Act 1979, the municipality has to collect an annual fee for keeping dogs:

Working dogs EUR 6.54

Dogs EUR 32.00

Dogs with increased risk potential

and conspicuous dogs according to § 2 and 3 Lower Austria Dog Keeping Act EUR 140.00

Dog tag one-off fee EUR 2.00

If the dog tag is lost, a price of € 5.00 must be paid when the dog tag is reassigned. The additional costs are for the required personnel expenditure, which is the fault of the dog owner.

A written application must be submitted to the municipality for working dogs.
