The market town of Klein-Pöchlarn is taking a stand against violence On November 13th, an important lecture by the Violence Protection Center took place in the ballroom, led by Ms. Kern. The event offered visitors a comprehensive overview of the topic of violence and the many different forms in which it can occur. Ms. Kern discussed the different types of violence and explained how neighbors or friends can react in an emergency. Helpful tips were given on how outsiders can provide support and what steps can be taken to help those affected. Ms. Kern also explained the possible offers of help and protective measures that the Violence Protection Center provides for victims. She also presented statistical figures that illustrate the sad reality and omnipresent presence of violence in our society. The statistics showed how widespread the various facets of violence are and underlined the enormous importance of information and prevention. Special thanks go to Ms. Kern for her informative and committed lecture and to all participants for their interest and attention. This event has once again shown how important the commitment against violence and the work of the Violence Protection Center are to support those affected and contribute to raising awareness.
