We in Klein-Pöchlarn are "proud of our village"

Klein-Pöchlarn
A delegation from Klein-Pöchlarn also took part in the most recent “Village & City Renewal” get-together in Echsenbach. Representatives of our community discussed current issues of village and city development, and in particular the development of the town center, with numerous guests, with Deputy Governor Stephan Pernkopf and President of the Association of Municipalities Johannes Pressl. The spotlight was also on those clubs and communities that submitted a project as part of the “Proud of our Village” funding campaign and that received financial support for it. Here in Klein-Pöchlarn, the campaign was used to implement the “Bridge renovation on the pilgrimage route to Maria Taferl” project. A new bridge was built over the Thalheimbach, on the border with the neighboring community of Maria Taferl. Deputy Governor Stephan Pernkopf presented a delegation with the “Proud of our Village” plaque, which will be displayed directly on site in the future to draw attention to the initiative. Community residents have volunteered to implement the project and thus actively helped shape village life. I am pleased to see how people are getting to work and making our community even more livable for everyone," said Mayor First Name Last Name, delighted with the initiative. Review and outlook The newly organized village and city renewal has successfully changed its funding landscape in order to provide more targeted support to communities and volunteers. With over 1,000 community visits, Deputy Governor Stephan Pernkopf was able to draw a positive conclusion. The "Proud of our Village" funding campaign showed the interest and willingness of people in the country to work on projects for the benefit of the people in the village and community.
