On behalf of SPORTLAND Lower Austria, we are pleased to inform you that the spusu Lower Austria community challenge will take place again this year!
No matter whether you like running, inline skating, pedaling a bike or just hiking - from July 1st to September 30th, 2024, every minute of exercise in the great outdoors counts for all Lower Austrians . During this time, SPORTLAND Lower Austria is looking for the most active communities in Lower Austria for the eighth time in cooperation with spusu, Sodexo and the two Lower Austrian community representative associations.
As in previous years, the “spusu Sport” app will also be used this year. This was developed specifically for the competition, continuously adapted to the needs of the challenge and, for this year's edition, equipped with new badges for individual sporting achievements and some new sports, such as swimming. In addition, the filters and parameters for tracking minutes have been adapted again to further improve the fairness and transparency of the community challenge.
Registration is possible from Monday, June 10, 2024, in the “spusu Sport” app or at www.noechallenge.at. As usual, all Lower Austrian communities have already been registered and can be selected directly when registering. We would be very happy if your community took part and supported us in the application in order to encourage as many participants as possible and thus actively promote the health of our population through regular exercise!
We will inform you about further details in the coming weeks and send you two posters to apply by post. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at +43 676 8121 9886 or matthias.poller@noe.co.at!
Regional sports days throughout Lower Austria
After the successful premiere last year, we as SPORTLAND Lower Austria will be supporting up to ten regional sports days again this year in order to draw more attention to the sports and exercise offerings in our state. All clubs in a region should be given an attractive platform in the spirit of a regional “Day of Sports” to present their offerings and, in particular, to get children and young people excited about sport.
At every regional sports day, in addition to the diverse club offerings, there are also numerous exercise stations from SPORTLAND Lower Austria worth 5,000 euros and a raffle with great prizes. In addition, at least one Lower Austrian sports star or professional club will be a guest at each event. Chiara Halama, Senad Grosic, Jennifer Wendt and Marc Digruber have already announced themselves as guests and will be available for games, autographs and photos.
Interested communities are asked to contact us as soon as possible on +43 676 8121 9886 or matthias.poller@noe.co.at.
With sporty greetings,
the SPORTLAND Lower Austria team
